Volume 11 (May 8-13): Enjoying Acadia!

We're still in Maine and we have really enjoyed exploring different parts of Acadia National Park!

This week we are still writing from Bar Harbor, Maine!

6th Grade Reporter

What was your favorite thing that we did in the last week? 

I liked it all but my favorite things were Mama tokens (where each kid got 45 min one-on-one with Mom), Bar Harbor Town Beach, Sand Beach, and the lichen study. 

We are almost done with this school year. What have you liked about roadschooling? What have you disliked about roadschooling? What might you change if we were ever going to do roadschooling again?

I like roadschooling because you can work at your pace, you get more control over what you do and more field trips. Also you get to go to places and do things that you never would have done if you were at a normal school. It can also be hard because you don't get to see your friends while you do school and you don’t get a break from your siblings.

What was your favorite thing that we did in the last week? 

I liked playing in the campground with other kids.

We are almost done with this school year. What have you liked about roadschooling? What have you disliked about roadschooling? What might you change if we were ever going to do roadschooling again.

I like having Echo. I dislike being so close to all of my siblings. And I would not change much. I most dislike not being with my friends.

What was your favorite thing that we did in the last week? 

I liked the beach where we built the bridge with rocks. (Bar Harbor Town Beach / Balance Rock)
